The Soldier Map is your interactive portal to explore the stories of Sikh soldiers and others during World War One. Use this quick-start guide to help you to get exploring:

Viewing a Soldier Record:

Click on any turban badge icon insert icon graphic

Adopting an existing record:

Click the insert ‘Adopt Record’ graphic button within a Soldier Record

Creating a new record:

Click the insert ‘Create Record’ graphic button in the filter menu

Navigation:

Click and drag to move around the map, and zoom in or out

Searching for a soldier:

Use either the search field (located in the top-left corner of the map), or open the filter menu (by clicking insert icon graphic to the left of the search field)

Social media:

Use the share icon to spread the word
