South Australia’s Indian community want to march on Anzac Day to honour 15,000 of their countrymen who served alongside Australians at Gallipoli.

But there's a problem: the organising committee will not allow representatives to march in honour of the Indians who served alongside Diggers in the Turkish campaign in World War One.

This picture of the 14th Sikhs in their trenches at Gallipoli should serve as a timely reminder to the Australian Anzac Day Committee that Sikhs fought shoulder to shoulder with Anzacs in the Great War.
