Olk Skool Bhangra in the Heart of Empire
Thousands of Sikhs and others congregated in Trafalgar Square last weekend to celebrate 'Vaisakhi in the Square'.
Mods meetup
This event has become an annual fixture in London's calendar and attracts up to 30,000 people each year, so we couldn't miss the chance to be there and spread the word.
A good day for it
Much singing and dancing took place, Punjabi style, in the shadow of Nelson's Column. The drums could be head up Pall Mall and across Whitehall; the Sikhs were celebrating in traditional style!
Say what, Willis?
The EFW outreach mob joined our friends at City Sikhs, one of our community partners, to spread the word about our respective organisations and projects.
People from all over the UK and lots of tourists from all corners of the globe were enjoying the day too. Nice.
New friends
There was a lot of interest in the whole project and especially the forthcoming Summer exhibition.
Batman and his mum pay us a visit
As usual we met old friends and made some new ones.
Sikh Pride
Overall a good day, with lots of community spirit on display.
Say it loud, say it proud
