We sneaked in another History Baseline Workshop during our visit to NAM on the 22nd March, this time for a small team of volunteers that couldn't make any of the other sessions.
We'v dug up some fascinating documents and original artefacts which we will draw upon and showcase during our forthcoming exhibition.
We've also uncovered a raft of original images, each of which speaks a thousand words. Here are photographs of Brighton Pavilion, where some of the tens of thousands of Sikh and other Indian casualties were taken to convalesce.
We've uncovered so much research that our Project historian, Parmjit Singh, had to construct a mindmap to help him contextualise and make sense of it all. Here, some of the guys try to get to grips with his research - easier said than done!
