We held the second of our project history baseline workshops at Hounslow Gurudwara on 1st March. 

Volunteers learned more about this period in history, particularly the Sikh involvement in the 'Great War'.

The chaps got to grips with various aspects of the history, both of the soldiers who left home to fight and of the families they left behind.

Of course, given the subject area, there were plenty of harrowing stories as well as many uplifting ones.

It was hard work as there was a lot to get through, but well worth it in the end.
